B5: Photo shoot with my 350z

My goal for this photo shoot was to learn how to work in different lighting situations whether it was a bright day out or if I shot in a parking structure or at night. I so happen to shoot at a parking structure that was nearby my house and I like to go to for photo shoots. I also recently modded my headlights to be able to change colors from my phone through an app I downloaded so I wanted to try the new lights color change out.

After the photo shoot was finished, I can happily say that I achieved my goal of being able to shoot in parking structures. With learning how to shoot in the structure, I posted up some photos up on my Instagram and I ended up getting a sponsorship from a Japanese clothing line called Japanese Muscle for my car. I was really happy with the outcome of the photos and getting my first sponsorship with a big company.

I enjoyed having the photo shoot with my car, as photography is one of my top favorite art medias. At first my photos were coming out too bright as the time of day was 2:00 P.M. so I dropped my shutter speed and raised my ISO and that’s when I started to realize that my photos were coming out crisp. It gives you a sense of accomplishment when you take some great photos and other people tell you that the photos are nice or when they say that your car is nice.

This project meant a great deal to me since I have a deep love for cars, especially my car and a deep love for photography. And the fact that the photo shoot got me a sponsorship means even more to me as this has been something that I have been wanting for a very long time. Sponsorships aren’t offered very often but when they are, they are a big deal. I will be getting a banner representing the brand and will have another photo shoot with the banner on and send them my photos so they can post it up on their page.
